Cinematographer, Christopher Chomyn, MFA '90 shot the soon to be released: "Flying By" which stars: Billy Ray Cyrus, Heather Locklear, Olesya Rulin and Patricia Neal. "Flying By" will open the Houston Worldfest on April 17, and will air on the Lifetime Cable Channel on April 18, 2009.

Brin Hill '94 wrote and directed the coming-of-age basketball/foster care drama BALL DON'T LIE starring Grayson "The Professor" Boucher, Nick Cannon, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Melissa Leo, Rosanna Arquette, Harold Perrineau and Emilie de Ravin. It releases in select theaters June 5.

Antonia Bath '95 recently completed an 8 week run of Cirque Berzerk's critically acclaimed Beneath as a featured singer in the band of Deathly Dressed Musicians.

Alumnus Kevin Bourque '91 wrote all the music and co-created the show along with Suzanne Bernel and Neal Everett.

The troupe plans to tour in 2010.

Holly Poe Durbin '97 is the Head of graduate costume design studies at UC-Irvine, and is a freelance costume designer and author.  Her work has been seen at Universal Studios Japan, Viejas Casinos, the Arrezzo Festival in Italy, the Flamenco Festival in Seville, Spain, the Old Globe Theaters, the Geffen Playhouse, regional theaters around the country, and Off Broadway.  She recently designed "Lady With All the Answers" for the Pasadena......more

Dave Johnson MFA ’98 has sold his comedy pitch "Repeat After Me" to Universal. Johnson, who also teaches courses for the Professional Programs, was a writer on the TV series "Jake 2.0" and previously sold "Man Wedding" to New Regency.

Jason Moore '92, MFA ’98 has had considerable success as director of commercials. He has been directing spots around the world, from Moscow to Los Angeles to Sofia, Bulgaria, and was featured last year on ABC's “American Inventor” on primetime TV as the director their innovative TV spots. The UCLA Producers Program’s Patrick Roddy '98 premiered his neo-noir movie “Red 71” at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater in New York City. The movie is a mystery about a self-styled gumshoe who yearns for a beautiful and calculating woman.

Sara Staley '98 won a CBS 5 Bay Area Jefferson Award for her years of work educating young people about social issues like HIV prevention, diversity & homophobia as director of the Youthaware Educational Theatre program at the New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco.
