The Directors Spotlight was created to provide an opportunity for student filmmakers to present their work to the entertainment industry.  Since its inception more than a decade ago, Spotlight has helped launch the careers of numerous gifted filmmakers.  The films you will see have been chosen by a series of panels consisting of students and industry professionals.  We encourage you to discover the new talent featured at the other screenings and events taking place during Festival 2009.  You won't be disappointed!
