Producers

Dana Gills



Dana is a storyteller and culture vulture with years of advertising experience. Her passion for multimedia content fueled her exit from advertising and co-founding Brown Paper Dolls production company that released *milk + honey* (Executive Producer, Idris Elba). She is currently producing ALMOST NOT BEAUTIFUL (Executive Producer, James Franco, starring Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara). Dana has worked with The Weinstein Company, Berman Braun, UROK/Mad Men and on Vh-1's Emmy-nominated SOUL TRAIN: THE HIPPEST TRIP IN AMERICA. She received the National Association of Theater Owners Fellowship and HBO Student Fellow. She's a Spelman College graduate.

HEAVY (drama)

An hour-long drama about an image-obsessed woman poised to be the next great weight-loss icon, who is self consumed with building her rising media empire, while masking her own eating disorders and highly dysfunctional personal relationships.

Jonathan Kolkey



Before entering undergrad at UCLA, Jonathan Kolkey started his film career by directing commercials that aired on MTV. During undergrad, Jonathan interned at Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Silver Pictures, Lionsgate, Gersh, Imagine Entertainment, New Line Cinema, and Summit Entertainment. After entering the UCLA Producers Program, Jonathan produced a $28,000 short sci-fi thriller. He currently seeks to work in the studio system specializing in sci-fi action.

OXMOSIS (science fiction thriller)

A young man, about to take the reins of a biomedical laboratory, gets involved in the plight of a woman affected by toxic air, only to discover corruption in his own company.

Jesse is a writer/producer originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He moved to Los Angeles in 2011, seeking an MFA from the UCLA Producing Program. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor's in Film Studies from Yale University. Jesse is currently an assistant at 20th Century Fox. His favorite films are McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Blazing Saddles, The Big Lebowski, and Chinatown. He would be nowhere without the love, support, and unending patience of his family and pets.

211 (Action Thriller)

Average Joe best friends Mike and Ben take a trip to their childhood neighborhood in Detroit, Michigan on the eve of Ben's wedding. But when they find themselves in the middle of a police code 211, armed robbery in progress, they must overcome masked assailants and their own crumbling friendship in order to save the hostages of a messy bank heist-gone-wrong.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Psychology and in French, Kira Muratova (no relation to the Ukrainian film director) moved to New York City to do, well, not that. She dabbled in publishing. And then there was that three-year stint at a corporate law firm. It took a little while, but eventually she found the yellow brick road and came to Los Angeles to study the art and business of producing. After graduation, she plans to continue to cultivate her soft spot for film development.

PINK LADDER (drama)

A Thai family travels to Los Angeles in search of a better life, only to be locked away in a clothing sweatshop.
