Murphy Sculpture Garden and Coral Tree Walk

Dedicated by UCLA’s third chancellor in 1967, the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden is located immediately south and west of Macgowan Hall. It contains more than 70 major works by artists such as Auguste Rodin, Henri Matisse, Alexander Calder and Joan Miró.

Coral Tree Walk is on the north side of the Murphy Sculpture Garden and in front of Macgowan Hall. Well shaded by flanking rows of South African coral trees, this area serves as a pleasant retreat for students in north campus and is also a popular location for receptions.
