A Scholarship for the M.F.A. Degree Program in Directing
The Hani Farsi Endowed Graduate Scholarship Fund is designed to give voice to the unique perspective of Arab women for the M.F.A. Degree Program in Directing. The program is focused on the power of story to not only delight and entertain, but to make a difference in the world.
A four-year scholarship is available and includes full tuition, registration fees, housing, meals and books. (Travel is not included.) The purpose of the scholarship is to study the art and craft of directing at the prestigious UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television (UCLA TFT) in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.
Women from the following eligible Arab league countries are strongly encouraged to apply: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia and the UAE.
