Ovation Awards

UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television alumnus Gregory Ballora and Lecturer Drew Dalzell were winners at this year’s Ovation Awards ceremony, which took place on Tuesday, Jan. 17 in Downtown Los Angeles.

Dalzell won in the category of Sound Design (Large Theater) for his work on Unbound Productions’ Wicket Lit 2015, while Ballora was an Ovation Honors Recipient for Puppet Design for his work on Wood Boy Dog Fish at the Bootleg Theater.

Dalzell and Ballora were among 17 UCLA TFT alumni and faculty who were nominated for Ovation Awards in 12 categories. An additional seven alumni, faculty and staff were affiliated with seven nominated shows.
