TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL LINEUP
The 40th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is set for Sept. 10 – 20, 2015 and will screen six UCLA TFT alumni and executive board member films in the TIFF Docs, Midnight Madness and Special Presentations categories. They include:
TIFF Docs
Janis: Little Girl Blue — Alex Gibney, producer
The Reflektor Tapes — Kahlil Joseph (M.F.A. ’06), director
Hitchcock/Truffaut — Paul Schrader (M.A. ’70) and executive board member Martin Scorsese make appearances in director Kent Jones’ doc
Midnight Madness
The Girl in the Photograph — Dean Cundey (B.A. ’68), cinematographer
Special Presentations
Trumbo — alumnus Michael Stuhlbarg portrays actor Edward G. Robinson in director Jay Roach’s film
